Travelling to and from Spain is becoming easier and cheaper every year thanks to the competitiveness of many low budget airlines and new destinations are constantly being added. Travelling within Spain is also becoming more convenient as local infrastructures grow and further public transport services are introduced.

Spain has an excellent motorway network, trains are efficient and it is possible to travel to and from most major cities quickly and cost effectively. A local train or Renfe Train travels between Fuengirola and Málaga twice an hour. Ticket to Málaga costs about €2, shorter distances from €1 upwards. The tickets have to be bought beforehand, if you're caught without a ticket you have to pay double, all stations have a ticket machine on the platform. Bigger stations have ticket booths as well as ticket machines. They do, however, have easy to follow instructions on how to purchase your ticket. Using a Taxi in Spain

Using a Taxi in Spain is still quite inexpensive. The white taxis are on call at taxi stands but you can easily catch them in the street by waving or calling, however, do note that a Taxi may not stop when you wave them down, in Spain, it is not legal for them to collect off the street, you should, ideally go to a Taxi rank/stop. On short trips taxi meters are not used, as the driver checks the price from a check list that they all carry in their vehicle. The price of a normal trip, during the day time, inside the coty is about €5.
